School Board Working Meeting- May 13, 2020 All School Directors were present virtually. Below is a summary of some of the items and issues that occurred at the Board meeting that may be of interest to our readers. This is not meant to be inclusive of all that took place at the meeting. After celebrating the 25 year employees, the meeting turned to a presentation of the proposed budget for next year. The final proposed budget will come up for a vote in the May 20 board meeting. Public comment then takes place and a final vote on the budget occurs in June. Some highlights include a projection that PA expects a 5% decrease in 2020-21 revenue; cuts to state funding are possible; NA will be operating at a deficit for the fourth year in a row; intended hiring of 27 full time employees will not occur leading to some expense
