Last School Board Meeting of 2019! School Board Meetings Dec 11, 2019 Education Subcommittee (members include Allyson Minton, Kevin Mahler and Marcie Crow) met before the regular Board Meeting. Drs Bichsel l and Sciullo presented on the changing landscape in education and impact on teaching and learning. The current NA Curriculum Department infrastructure was reviewed, along with barriers that the current structure creates. Drs Bichsel l and Sciullo outlined a proposal for a new NASD Curriculum Structure. Among the changes proposed were an Elementary Curriculum Coordinator and Secondary Curriculum Coordinator in the first phase (proposed for 2020-21) and 4 Instructional coaches (2 for grades K-6 in Math; 2 for grades 6-8 in Literacy and Math) in the second phase.
